What is Stage-Stars Theatre Academy?
★ Fun★
Above all we strive to ensure that our sessions are engaging and fun for our students. There are limitless benefits to attending Stage-Stars Theatre Academy and we are proud to watch and develop our students' confidence and self belief alongside their performance abilities and techniques. We are a small and personable school and each of our students' individual personalities and journeys are extremely important to us. We support our students through their journey and offer them a positive and rewarding outlet.
★ Technique ★
Our students are split into age/ability appropriate classes and take part in weekly classes in acting, singing and dance. We also spend time working on song and dance performance and developing their acting through song technique to combine the three disciplines and integrate them into their work. As a faculty of industry professionals we combine our knowledge of our specialist areas to deliver material that is relevant and progressive to our students.
★ Performance ★
Each year we perform a full scale musical at a local performance venue complete with full set, costumes and make up to create a fantastic performance opportunity for our students. Students audition for parts in the musical and take part in weekly rehearsals in preparation for the performance. We also perform a showcase each year, which is a presentation of the students' hard work in their technique classes. We are passionate about the importance of our students being onstage and the experience of performing to an audience.
